Juries & Awards

In the international competition ON THE RISE, 16 fictional first and second feature films by exceptional directors compete for six prizes. Five of these prizes are awarded by four different juries. Each of the juries has its own view of cinema. And for this very reason, the prizes give a representative picture of the respective year of our festival.
