Here’s where you can meet them, our numerous international guests, the stars of today and tomorrow!
Of course, you can also talk to them at the Q&A sessions after the screenings in the cinemas. But the best opportunity at the IFFMH to meet actors, directors and the like from all over the world up close and personal is here: in our festival lounges in Mannheim and Heidelberg, with a drink or a snack in a casual setting and a convivial atmosphere. So feel free to come. It’s worth it. We look forward to seeing you – because the festival is not complete without you.
Stadthaus N1
This year, the Stadthaus will once again be a place for the stars and face-to-face encounters. With our cinema in the Bürgersaal, the festival foyer and the festival lounge, various threads of the festival come together here. In the lounge, you will have the opportunity to discuss and celebrate the festival events with the industry guests, the international film teams and other film fans until late into the night.

Lounge at Karlstorbahnhof Süd
In addition to the Karlstorkino and the cinema built especially for the festival in the large hall of the Karlstorbahnhof, there is a festival lounge in Heidelberg between the cinemas in the Karlstorbahnhof headquarters too. It is a place for exchange and encounters. Here you can soak up the international atmosphere of the IFFMH with stars, the industry and like-minded people. The bar tempts you with drinks, wines, special cinema snacks and changing dishes. In addition, an exciting programme of panels, DJ sets, parties, performances, industry meetings and art installations awaits you in the lounge.
