Here’s where you can meet them, our numerous international guests, the stars of today and tomorrow!

Of course, you can also talk to them at the Q&A sessions after the screenings in the cinemas. But the best opportunity at the IFFMH to meet actors, directors and the like from all over the world up close and personal is here: in our festival lounges in Mannheim and Heidelberg, with a drink or a snack in a casual setting and a convivial atmosphere. So feel free to come. It’s worth it. We look forward to seeing you – because the festival is not complete without you.

Our Guests!

Stadthaus N1

This year, the Stadthaus will once again be a place for stars and face-to-face conversations. Our cinema in the Bürgersaal, the Festival Foyer and the Festival Lounge will unite various aspects of the festival. In the lounge, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss and celebrate what’s going on at the festival with guests from the industry, international film teams and other festivalgoers late into the night.

  • Address: N1, 1 on the 1st floor, 68161 Mannheim
  • Opening hours (foyer): from 3 pm
  • Food and coffee available: Mon to Fri from 3 pm / Sat + Sun: from 10 am
  • Opening hours (lounge): daily from 8 pm

Lounge at Karlstorbahnhof Süd

Along with the Karlstorbahnhof, we’re moving to the Südstadt district of Heidelberg. In our new premises in Marlene-Dietrich-Platz, you’ll find not only a cinema, but also a lounge, right within the building. This is the best place to meet people and talk to them. Here, too, you can soak up the international atmosphere of the IFFMH with its stars, industry representatives and like-minded people.

At press time, the premises still appeared to be not quite finished, but you’ll be surprised. When the building opens on 28 October, everything will be shiny and new. You’re most welcome to see for yourself!

  • Address: Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 3, 69126 Heidelberg
  • Opening hours (bar): half an hour before the first event in the afternoon or evening
