Advance ticket sales for the 75th IFFMH begin on October 19, 2026 — both online in our ticket shop and at our advance booking locations in Mannheim and Heidelberg.

Ticket prices:

We want to make our film festival accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their budget. For this reason, we offer a solidarity-based pricing system. There are three price categories for individual tickets and festival passes, and two price categories for multi-event passes. You do not need to provide any proof of eligibility for any of these categories; you are free to decide for yourself what price you are able or willing to pay for your festival experience. (Please note that some individual events within the supporting program have only one price category.)

• Single Tickets
  • Basic Ticket 8€ A reduced-price category for those on a tight budget.
  • Standard Ticket: 12€
  • Solidarity Ticket 14€: By choosing this option, you subsidize the Basic Ticket, making it possible for visitors with limited financial means to attend our festival.
  • Kulturpass holders: Through our partnership with Kulturparkett Rhein-Neckar e. V., Kulturpass holders are entitled to free admission to all films (tickets are available exclusively at the respective cinema box offices, starting half an hour before each screening).
  • Opening Night: 14€ | 16€ | Thursday, November 5 | 7:30 PM | Cineplex | N7, 17 | 68161 Mannheim
  • Holders of a MeinMorgen or MeineFN card receive a 10% discount on festival passes, as well as 5-ticket and 10-ticket bundles. This discount can only be redeemed online via the MeinMorgen portal.

• Festival pass

  Festival Pass (Cinema):
  Basic Pass: 60 Euros
  Standard Pass: 85 Euros
  Solidarity Pass: 100 Euros
  
  The festival pass grants you access to all film screenings at our festival (excluding certain parts of the supporting program). The pass must be personalized and is for the use of one individual only. Upon purchase, you will receive a code (visible in the center of your festival pass ticket), which allows you to book individual events at no extra cost. Simply enter this code under the "Festival Pass Redemption" price category to unlock your complimentary ticket.
  To prevent misuse, we reserve the right to perform random checks by comparing your festival pass against an official form of identification.

• Group tickets/ 5 and 10 tickets
  • 10-Ticktes: standard 110 euros | basis 75 euros
  • 5-Tickets: standard 55 euros | basis 38 euros
  • The multiple cards are not individualised and can be used by several people. So come with your friends and family!
  • As a festival pass holder and multiple ticket holder you can visit our Opening Night without any additional costs.

• Tickets for children's and youth films
  • Children: 3,50 Euro per child (up to and including age 17)
  • Adults: Individual tickets available according to our standard pricing system
  • Bookings for entire school classes are possible. Teachers or accompanying educational staff receive free admission. Please register groups/classes at: jungesfilmfest@iffmh.de
  • Holders of a "Kulturpass" (Kulturparkett) may bring their own children to screenings free of charge (these tickets are available exclusively at the box offices of the "Junges Filmfest" cinema venues, starting 30 minutes before the screening).
  • Holders of a Mannheim Family Pass ("Mannheimer Familienpass") are eligible for a discount when attending the "Junges Filmfest." This offer can be redeemed only at the Mannheim Tourist Information center or at the box offices of the participating Mannheim cinemas.

• IFFMH Voucher

  Vouchers can be redeemed for all festival events. A voucher can only be used for a ticket of the same value.
  No residual balances are recorded. When purchasing a voucher, a code is generated; simply enter this code into the "IFFMH Voucher Redemption" field in your shopping cart to redeem its value. Enjoy gifting it!

• Tickets for individuals with a severe disability:

  A person with a severe disability may select a ticket at the regular price, while their accompanying person can book a €0 ticket. The €0 ticket for the accompanying person can only be booked as part of the same transaction as the paid ticket.
  

• Tickets for wheelchair users:

  You can select this ticket during the very first step of the ordering process and then choose your preferred ticket price; an accompanying person can book a 0 Euro ticket (provided it is added to the same shopping cart). Important: if the tickets in this category are sold out, please send an email to tickets@iffmh.de, and we will check whether we can make additional tickets available for you.
