Our films for kids and teens

Cinema for young film fans – that’s what’s on offer at our YOUNG FILM FESTIVAL from 5 to 15 November!
You can already have a look through the programme. This year, you can look forward to international films from six countries, a reading by children’s author Ingo Siegner from "Der Kleine Drache Kokosnuss", and a live show with climate journalist Louisa Schneider who will share her experiences from an exciting journey to the Earth’s climate tipping points. Regarding the film programm, the focus is on six recent international cinema productions from Sweden, Brazil, France, Mexico and Argentina, as well as the Japanese anime classic *My Neighbour Totoro*. The films we’ve selected for you this year tell stories – with plenty of wit and humour, but also with great sincerity – about being different, about friendship and family, about the fight against environmental pollution, and about coping with grief and loss – and about the magic of new beginnings.
