The abysses of man: a nerve-wracking thriller that takes us into the dark labyrinth of a digital shadow world.

The mysterious Kelly-Anne watches the trial of suspected murderer Ludovic Chevalier. He allegedly murdered three girls in a gruesome manner – live on camera for an internet audience. Kelly-Anne seems almost obsessed with the man. She bears an eerie resemblance to one of the victims. Eventually, the young woman embarks on a dark path to search for the last piece of the puzzle that is missing in the trial: the recording of one of the murders. But why is she doing this?

Magnificently produced, impressively filmed and grippingly directed, ›Red Rooms‹ builds tremendous tension. In the process, it very gradually transforms from a puzzling crime film to a nerve-wracking psychological thriller with a feminist twist. A clever, ambiguous movie that has caused a sensation since its world premiere in Karlovy Vary and received four awards at the Fantasia Film Festival.
