How far can – and should – one go in fighting the rise of the far right? A gripping, highly topical political thriller featuring a terrific Mala Emde.

The mood across the country is shifting and incidents of right-wing violence are escalating. Unwilling to stand by and do nothing, Luisa (Emde) joins an Antifa group in Mannheim’s Jungbusch neighborhood. At their first demonstration against a new right-wing populist party, she steals the cell phone of a far-right extremist. The Antifa group thus learns of a fascist rally in a provincial town. They go there, things get out of hand, and Luisa ends up seriously injured. A fight then erupts within her group over how far they can and should go in resisting the fascists. After all, some of them are hoping to receive a lease from the city for their cultural center.

An authentic and politically unsettling thriller about the threat currently facing our democracy and the dark sides of resistance.
