A very special day in the life of a young woman – beginning with the magic of a new friendship and culminating in a beautiful, mystical ecstasy of images.

It all starts with a dream: Jo, a rebellious yet melancholic teenager, floats above the world, detached from everything around her. Suddenly, she realizes that she has once again overslept and missed her bus. But she only really gets angry when her mother is annoyed and refuses to help her. The school day is initially dull and uneventful: her boyfriend still hasn’t learned how to kiss properly, nobody in class seems interested in anything, and everything revolves around a lot of gossip about trivialities. But then, Jo hears the angelic singing of her classmate Phaedra and is drawn under its spell. When the two young women later run into each other in the library, they shyly arrange a date for that evening. Jo spends the day excitedly anticipating their meeting. But fate has other plans.
