Now in theaters: ›The Doll‹

A French romantic comedy starring Vincent Macaigne and Cécile de France

Now showing in cinemas – one of our festival hits from last year! The French comedy "The Doll" by Sophie Beaulieu, featuring a star-studded cast.

After a gruelling break-up, Rémi (Vincent Macaigne) has had enough of loving real women once and for all. Instead, he now lives in peaceful harmony with a plastic doll – which works better for him in every respect. But one day, his new colleague Patricia (Cécile de France) turns up at the office and throws him completely off balance. And then, to top it all off, the doll suddenly comes to life, leaving Rémi in a real bind when it comes to explaining things and facing a whirlwind of emotions. With magical realism and a host of quirky twists, director Sophie Beaulieu crafts an original, fast-paced comedy full of surprises at every turn.
