In cinemas: Gaspar Noé's ›Vortex‹

On dignity and autonomy in an everyday life full of medication

A retrospective of the work of French director Gaspar Noé was shown at Cinema Quadrat in Mannheim this April. The highlight and conclusion of the series is Noé's latest film ›Vortex‹, which was shown here last year as part of PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES and will be released regularly in cinemas today, Thursday 28 April. ›Vortex‹ is the story of a married couple in their 80s, a woman and a man, whose lives are thrown out of sync due to dementia and medication. In addition to the Cinema Quadrat, you can also see the film at the Karlstorkino in Heidelberg.
