IFFMH presents: ›Robot Dreams‹
Film and workshop - a creative afternoon for kids in Heidelberg
New York in the 80s: Life in the trendy East Village district is buzzing, honking and howling. But lonely Dog passes the time watching television and eating snacks – until he buys a robot. Everything is better when you're together, and summer rushes by as if on roller skates. But soon the two have to part ways. Forever? Based on a well-known comic, the film doesn't lack dialogue. Its clear images speak with tremendous detail and captivating humour. A story full of twists and turns, a lovingly crafted excursion into the late 20th century and, above all, a moving delight about the preciousness of friendship.
