Francisco Klinger Carvalho works across multiple media and has developed a visual and formal language that is deeply personal. One of the themes informing his art is the relationship between humans and nature. A recurring motif is the loss of culture and identity, of nature and homeland. Deeply rooted in Brazilian culture, particularly that of the Amazon region, the works of Francisco Klinger Carvalho are imbued with the imagery and memories of this fragile world rich in tradition.
