Meet the Programmers

To establish a permanent place at our festival for direct exchange with us about the program, we warmly invite you to a conversation with our programming team. The members of our international selection committee write books and reviews about film, vote for the Golden Globes, work in cinemas, have taught at film schools, and have gained extensive experience at other film festivals in Germany and across Europe. As a team, they watch more than 1,500 films each year – often while traveling to major festivals around the world. Over a drink and in a relaxed atmosphere, you will have the chance to gain insight into the complex process of programming and film selection, learn about background details and different perspectives, and of course discuss any films that particularly interested, moved, or surprised you. We look forward to the discussion.
