Bubales Puppet Theater

During the Jewish Culture Days (November 2–9), you’ll have the opportunity to visit Germany’s oldest Jewish puppet theater. With a series of short performances, the group offers playful insights into Jewish holidays. It’s a fun time for both children and adults, who along the way learn a little about Jewish customs. The featured performance, “Kosher Machine”, is a puppet sci-fi story about the role of animals in Judaism. For over a decade, “bubales” have been a beloved fixture of cultural programs in numerous Jewish communities.

When and where: 4:30 pm (Shabbat begins after the performance, followed by a religious service) | Jewish Community Mannheim, F3 4, 68159 Mannheim | Partially wheelchair accessible, bathrooms fully wheelchair accessible | Admission: free
