The Alte Schildkrötfabrik in Mannheim-Neckarau transforms into a unique sound and cinema space. On this charity evening, the Aramis Orchestra presents a repertoire of film music that combines orchestral arrangements and the visual language of cinema. From timeless classics like James Bond to Hans Zimmer’s soundscapes from ›Interstellar‹ and ›Dune‹, the ensemble of over 60 young musicians, recipients of the Jugendbildungspreis, artistically explore the question, “What would film be without music – and what is film music without film?” As a grand finale, we can look forward to an extraordinary performance titled “Dream Is Collapsing”, which brings live music and aerial acrobatics together in mid-air.
