When the young Dujae returns to his hometown, his childhood friend Jin discovers what it means to be gripped with passion. But she must still learn how to handle it.

Seventeen-year-old Jin has never left the island where she grew up. Everyone knows each other by name here, and life is governed by the rhythm of the sea. One day, Jin’s childhood friend Dujae returns for his grandmother’s funeral and moves into her house. He is completely on his own, as his mother was cast out by the island community and no longer even responds to her son’s attempts at contact. Jin soon starts finding any pretext to visit Dujae. At first, not even she is entirely sure why she keeps going. But things in her gradually change and she starts seeing her familiar world, and the people who belong to it, with new eyes.

A coming-of-age story full of empathy that portrays a young woman not as an object of desire, but as someone who experiences love and passion. The superb lead actors transport us into the world of first love and overwhelming emotions.
