Chile on the eve of the military coup: 24 hours in the life of an officer that would change the fate of the fledgling democracy forever.

Santiago de Chile, 11 September 1973: Captain Jorge Silva receives an order that turns his life upside down. At the Air Force Academy, where he works as an instructor, he is to set up a makeshift prison. Upon the arrival of his old rival, Colonel Jahn, he realises just how far-reaching the operation is. At the same time, men from Allende’s circle approach him, trying to win him over to their side. Silva must make a decision. A stirring, explosive and highly topical thriller about the beginnings of a national trauma. At the same time, a parable about morality, decisions of superhuman significance and their consequences.
