Two teenagers, one place, two backgrounds, one shared pain! A moving drama about cultural belonging, grief, and the strength needed to find yourself.

Okinawa, Japan. During summer vacation, after their final day of school, Kamei and his friends make plans for the future. The group’s dynamic changes abruptly when Colin, a teenager from the nearby US military base, joins them. Their relationship with this supposed outsider is fraught from the start, as the presence of the American military on the island fuels suspicion and protest among the local population. When one of the foreign soldiers is accused of a serious crime, tensions rise even further. And then Kamei and Colin seem to fall for the same young woman, Sayaka. But the two boys are kindred spirits, bound by a deep pain.

A moving drama about the meaning of belonging, grief, and the liberating journey toward finding ourselves.
