Exercise total control over our bodies? Or be close to nature? A fetish film of a different kind. Smart and kinky.

Ingeborg and Adam are a couple. Their life and love is marked by total control. These visionary hand surgeons have meticulously structured their daily routines, down to the smallest detail. In doing so, they indulge their obsessions. She compulsively steals objects; he longs to become one himself. When an accident brings the mysterious Gaia into their lives, the carefully calibrated balance of their relationship begins to falter.

Director Ann Oren has created a bold and uncompromising artistic vision of our societal status quo, bringing a distinctive voice to contemporary German cinema.
