A charity expedition turns into a nightmare. IFFMH alumnus Radu Muntean once again proves himself to be one of the most interesting storytellers of the Romanian New Wave.

Taking a break from their comfortable city lives to participate in a humanitarian mission, Maria, Ilinca and Dan venture into a remote region of Transylvania with their SUV, delivering food to the poor rural population. On their way through a desolate Carpathian forest, they give a ride to a seemingly disoriented old man who ends up putting their generosity to a serious test. 'Întregalde' is a shape-shifter. Alternating in tone and narrative style, it mixes naturalistic social drama with biting satire; it is a road movie, a psychodrama and a severe social critique with the atmosphere of a survival horror film. The real horror here is the unbridgeable gap that separates social classes. The philanthropy of the wealthy crumbles once it becomes inconvenient, raising the uncomfortable question of whether their goodwill isn’t at the service of their own ego more than anything else.
