Romance, thriller, science fiction: ›My Notes on Mars‹ is a mysterious, multilayered film that constantly offers the audience new surprises and revelations.

Margot is a brilliant astrophysicist. After suffering a burnout, she turns her back on science and leaves the United States. Together with her husband, Sam, she moves to his family estate in Hungary. But their marriage is increasingly marked by mutual estrangement and conflict. One day, after going hiking, Margot vanishes without a trace. Then, weeks later, she miraculously reappears at a memorial service held in her honor. However, she doesn’t remember anything about her former life, except her research on Mars. She desperately looks for her notebook in order to destroy it. Although Margot is no longer the same, Sam sees her return as a second chance for their love. Mackenzie Davis and Rupert Friend shine as the leads of the first English-language film by Hungarian director Lili Horvát.
