Leonardo, whose real name is Michael, wants new, white teeth because that's what everyone has now. Only unsuccessful people still have yellow teeth. So he needs 150 euros, which he doesn't have because he is in debt everywhere. The survival of the fittest applies on the street - if you don't have something, you take it, and Leonardo takes it. But the watch he steals turns out to be a fake and he decides to return it to the owner without further ado. Luck comes a little later...
Director
Sophia Groening, born in 1994 in Düsseldorf. Graduated in philosophy and visual sciences at the University of Witten/Herdecke. Is currently doing her art diploma at the Academy of Media Arts, Cologne. Her first short film, co-directed with Jan Bonny, premiered at the International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg. Her latest short film premiered in the German competition of the Oberhausen Short Film Festival and won the German Short Film Award as well as the German Film Critics' Prize. Sophia Groening lives and works in Cologne.
