A haunted-house story that deftly combines psychological and supernatural horror. Starring Adam Scott from ›Severance‹ and ›The Whisper Man‹.

Writer Ohm Bauman (Scott) travels to a remote Irish country inn to scatter his parents’ ashes. There, he encounters eerie tales about a witch said to haunt the hotel’s honeymoon suite. Disturbing visions and a shocking disappearance force him to confront the dark depths of his own past.

Damian McCarthy’s atmospheric horror film combines psychological terror with supernatural dread. Following the acclaimed genre hit ›Oddity‹, the Irish filmmaker once again demonstrates his gift for claustrophobic suspense and genuine scares.

Director

Irish director and writer Damian McCarthy has recently emerged as one of the leading voices in so-called folk horror. In addition to ›Oddity‹ (2024), his critically acclaimed work includes ›Caveat‹ (2020). Uncanny, even if seemingly lifeless, objects play a central role in his films.
