Haru (Rinko Kikuchi) and her husband Luis share a passionate love of dance. When Luis dies unexpectedly, Haru withdraws from the world. She finds solace only in the idea that Luis visits her at night in the form of a fantastical creature. When her sister urges her to join a dance class, Haru gives in to her weakness for the rumba. And then she develops yet another soft spot – for the highly attractive dance teacher, Fedir.

Led by a lead actress who gives a magnificent performance, this unique comedy, with a superb combination of music, dance and humour, tells of the power to make a fresh start.
