Final stop near Moscow. Here begins this brilliantly told film, at once a gripping thriller, a realistic character portrait and an oppressive societal panorama.

Natasha's parents live separately. She secretly dances in a nightclub and risks becoming the victim in a plot against one of her lovers, a policeman. The usual solution – corruption – is therefore out of the question. However, her father is willing to pay a high price. But Natasha's young lover also does everything for her and he is determined to win her for himself.

In his debut, Igor Polevichko's presents an amazingly loaded and riveting story. By developing primarily from the individual characters, it’s a story that takes a highly unique approach to the thriller genre. Unpredictable and full of twists and turns, the interplay of different actors and mysteries generates a dynamic that doesn’t leave out any of the characters. A fight for freedom in a system that knows no justice. Impressive!
