A Christian nun in the Philippines discovers a crime, witnesses the Church cover it up, and is plunged into a crisis of faith. A gripping drama about guilt and forgiveness.

A crumbling Christian convent somewhere in the Philippine highlands. Sister Yolanda has devoted her entire life to her faith and continues to embrace her calling with joyful devotion. One day, she is called to an operating room at the hospital to provide spiritual support to a dying man in his final moments. He was fatally injured at a nearby construction site, where the influential Dela Cruz family is building a new road. Only afterward does Yolanda begin to question the strange circumstances surrounding the victim’s death. When she turns to the Church for answers, the response is not what she had hoped for, and Yolanda is plunged into a profound crisis.

An impressive drama about the great questions of faith, guilt, and the wounds of colonialism that continue to be felt to this day. Virtually every frame is like a painting.
