Wonderfully acted coming-of-age film about the high price of female rebellion in a conservative society, and about the central question of youth: who does one want to be.

One day, in a truth-or-dare game, the teenage Iman claims to have slept with a certain older boy. She is in love with him, and there was a physical approach between them, but the actual act never happened. Iman, however, becomes more and more entangled in her lie and finally even pretends to be pregnant. When this lie reaches the classmates’ parents, some try to cancel the class trip that is about to take place. As a result, many of the students turn against Iman. - ›Excursion‹ tells the story of a rebellious youth in search of herself, who is mercilessly confronted with the expectations that are placed on women in the conservative society of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
