Tim Moeck first studied directing at the Munich Film Academy HFF and then taught screenwriting. Parallel to this, he curated film programmes and wrote academically or essayistically about current cinema and film-historical topics. In lengthy workshop discussions, he talked with Kenneth Lonergan about his love of James Joyce, and with Ruben Östlund about skiing. He has been working in the IFFMH programme team since April 2023.
