The deadline for submissions to the 61th International Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg 2012 is
13 July 2012.
Requirements
The International Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg is a newcomer-festival for the creative international author's film with an artistic claim. We present (in the International Competition as well as in the main side-program International Discoveries) premieres of fiction feature films from all over the world, produced by directors who - on an international scale - are basically unknown ("newcomers").
To be eligible for Mannheim-Heidelberg your film must not have been screened at any of the following film festivals
- Cannes (International Competition, Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, Un Certain Regard, Semaine de la Critique)
- Venice (International Competition)
- Locarno (International Competition)
- any film festival in Germany

Please submit your screening DVD along with the entry form (available for download → here) until 13 July 2012.
