For the best film with a minimum length of 60 minutes.


Prize for the Promotion of Intercultural Dialogue
Cash prize awarded in 1989 and 1990 by the International Jury. 


Special Award of the Lord Mayor of Mannheim
For the best documentary film with a minimum length of 45 minutes, characterised by sociopolitical commitment.


Josef-von-Sternberg Award
For the best unconventionally narrated feature film.


Film Ducat
Film Ducats were awarded from 1958 - 1990 for the best film in five different categories, issued by the International Jury.


Krempelmarkt Prize
Awarded for a film characterised by commitment for environmental problems.


The International Film Critics' Prize
Awarded by the International Jury.


Interfilm Award
Issued by the INTERFILM-Jury of the International
Protestant Work Group Film. 


Catholic Film Prize
Prize for the best film, issued by the Jury of the Catholic Work Group Film.
